Jess completed her undergraduate education at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2018. She continued with her education at Minnesota State University, Mankato and received her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2020. During graduate school practicums, Jess worked with a wide variety of ages and disorders through her placements in the MNCAN Aphasia Conversational Groups and the Prior-Lake Savage School District. While working in her school placement, she had the opportunity to work with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Cerebral Palsy, language impairments, Apraxia of speech, articulation disorders, and phonological disorders. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, Jess loves being able to build relationships with children and their families to increase family involvement, encourage generalization of skills, and ensure that each child reaches their highest potential.
