Katie graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2003 with a master’s degree in communication disorders. Katie is the clinic manager at Kid Talk and has worked as a pediatric speech-language pathologist in both outpatient private practice and school settings. She has worked with children with a variety of disabilities and delays including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger’s, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Chiari Malformation, Spina Bifida, receptive and expressive language delays, Apraxia of Speech, Auditory Processing Disorder, cleft palate/lip, voice disorders, fluency, phonological disorders, oral motor impairments, and articulation delays. Katie is PROMPT level 1 trained as well as a certified Interactive Metronome provider.
