Katie attended the College of Saint Scholastica in Duluth, where she attained a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Minor in Psychology. She continued her education and graduated in 2016 with a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. After graduation, Katie completed her first level two fieldwork at Mayo Clinic, New Prague where she was able to experience acute rehab, outpatient adults, and outpatient pediatric settings. Her second fieldwork was at Kid Talk, where she fell in love with the value system as employees and seeing the progress of the children. After her fieldwork, she began working for Kid Talk and has experience working with children with developmental delay, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome, chromosomal disorders, and ADHD. She is passionate about helping children develop to their greatest potential by increasing their level of independence in all areas of living.
