Michelle McPhillips

Michelle attended College of Saint Mary in Omaha, NE. She attained a Bachelor of Rehabilitation Science in 2015 and continued her education to receive her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Prior to graduation, Michelle completed her first level two fieldwork through Nebraska Rehabilitation in a school-based setting covering early intervention through 21 years. Her second fieldwork was at Boone County Health Center where she was able to experience acute rehab, outpatient adults, and skilled care. After her fieldwork, she began working for Partners in Excellence and has experience working with a wide variety of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Her love and passion for working with kids began to develop as she taught swimming lessons, worked at a daycare, and volunteered at many special Olympic events through her college years. Michelle is passionate about motivating children to help reach their highest potential and promote an improved quality of life.

When Michelle is not in the clinic you can find her outdoors or enjoying any sporting event. Especially the New England Patriots. She is very excited to get to know the families and kiddos at Kid Talk as they achieve new skills and increase their level of independence.
